On March 2, 2013, GO BOX was at the Canadian Home Builders' Association, 7th Annual Kamloops House and Home Show. There was over fifty companies displaying their products and services. This home show features businesses involved with building and renovating. GO BOX can help the builder and renovator by storing possessions while the new room or home is under construction. This was the first home show GO BOX has ever done. We really enjoyed talking to the people that had never heard of GO BOX and didn't know what we do. The home show was a blast! The second best part of the home show was learning about all the other businesses in Kamloops. Here are just a few of the people and businesses we meet at the home show.
Angela Seymour and Rose Choy were the home show organizers that put together this event and made sure everything ran smoothly.
On the right is Kevin Cooper of Lee's Music. He helped with sound and technical problems for the home show. I had a good talk with Kimberley McCart and Ray Jolicoeur from Kamloops This Week about print advertising.
I had an interesting talk with Ron Popoff about greywater use in the TNRD and the City of Kamloops. Many people are surprised to hear that the GO BOX site has a extensive permaculture garden which produces food for our family. This year we want to develop a forest garden.

Phil Lingren of KMS Tools filled the home show with the wonderful smell of cherry wood -- without the dust!
Dave MacKenzie from Peace of Mind entertained everyone with his sense of humor while talking about the serious issue of security.
Teegan Mudge enthusiastically told me about the new development at Sun Rivers.
Sandra McLellan from Hemlock Construction shared her excitement for their new development.
GO BOX enjoyed being part of the home show and helping people learn more about GO BOX. It was a great pleasure to meet all the people that make Kamloops such a wonderful place to live.
SOS TIP: Come and join us at the 2013 Kamloops Home and Leisure Show at the McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre. This is the biggest home show event of the year.
